Why Amazon Settlements Don't Import to Xero

The Import Format Problem

Amazon Settlement Report V2 has hundreds of rows per settlement with various fee types. Xero invoice import expects a specific format: ContactName, InvoiceNumber, InvoiceDate, Description, Quantity, UnitAmount, AccountCode, TaxType. Date formats must match your Xero region. Fee categories need proper account mapping. Get any of this wrong = import rejected.

What This Tool Does

We transform Amazon settlements to Xero's expected import format: - Settlement ID → InvoiceNumber - ISO dates → Regional format (DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY) - Fee types → Proper line item descriptions - Amounts → UnitAmount with correct signs - Pre-configured account codes Upload, configure, download, import. Done.
