How to Export Reservations from Hostaway (2026 Guide)
Follow these steps to export your Hostaway reservations as a CSV file. Once exported, you can use any of our converter tools to transform the data for your target system.
Export Steps
Log in to your Hostaway dashboard
Open your web browser and go to dashboard.hostaway.com. Sign in with your property manager credentials. The reservation export is available to all account tiers.
Navigate to the Reservations section
Click 'Reservations' in the left-hand navigation menu. This opens the main reservations table showing all bookings across your connected channels (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and direct bookings).
Apply filters to narrow your results
Use the filter options above the reservations table to narrow down the data by date range, listing, channel, payment status, or other criteria. This ensures you only export the reservations relevant to your reporting period.
Choose columns to include
Before downloading, you can customize which columns appear in the export. Click the column settings icon to select or deselect fields like guest email, number of guests, channel commission, and payout amounts. You can export either the visible columns or the complete list.
Click Download Report
Click the 'Download Report' or 'Export CSV' button at the top of the reservations table. Hostaway will generate a CSV file containing one row per reservation with all the selected columns and applied filters.
Open and verify the CSV file
Open the downloaded CSV file in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet program. Verify that the reservation count matches the filtered results in your Hostaway dashboard. Check key columns like base rate, cleaning fee, total price, and channel commission.
Cross-reference with Financial Reporting (optional)
For a more detailed financial breakdown, navigate to Financial Reporting in the left menu and select 'Rental Activity'. This report provides additional columns like owner payouts and management fees that complement the reservations export.
