No Customer Export from eBay
eBay doesn't provide a direct customer export. Your buyer information is
embedded in order history. This tool extracts unique customers and formats
them for Xero contact import.
Why Import Contacts First
Importing contacts before invoices gives you complete customer records with
addresses. If you import invoices first, Xero creates basic contacts that
lack address and phone details.

When the same customer buys multiple times, we keep one record with their most recent information. Deduplication by eBay username is most accurate since it's unique per account.
Xero matches by exact name. If names differ slightly (John Smith vs John D Smith), duplicates may occur. Use Xero's merge contacts feature to combine them.
eBay often shows masked emails (buyer@members.ebay.com). These still work for eBay messaging. Real emails require direct customer communication.
