Why Amazon Listings Need Conversion for WooCommerce
Different Field Structure
Amazon exports use seller-sku, item-name, item-description fields.
WooCommerce requires SKU, Name, Description with different formatting.
Amazon's bullet points (bullet-point1 through bullet-point5) need to be converted to HTML lists for WooCommerce short descriptions.
Missing Essential Data
Amazon's standard exports don't include:
- Product weight (required for shipping)
- Package dimensions
- Multiple product images (only main image URL)
- Category names (only numeric IDs)
