How People Use QBO Products Export
We were migrating our product catalog from QBO to a new system and the export had 38 items with duplicate SKUs caused by bundle components sharing parent SKU codes. The validator also caught 14 inventory items missing their Asset account mapping and 6 with quantity-on-hand values stored as text. Fixing those before migration prevented a full inventory recount.
Our QBO product export had 92 items where the Type field was blank because they were created through the API without specifying Inventory vs. Service.
