How to Export Driver Earnings from Lyft Driver (2026 Guide)

Follow these steps to export your Lyft Driver driver earnings as a CSV file. Once exported, you can use any of our converter tools to transform the data for your target system.

Export Steps

1

Log in to the Lyft Driver Dashboard

Open a web browser and go to lyft.com/driver, or launch the Lyft Driver app on your phone. Sign in with the credentials associated with your driver account.

2

Navigate to the Earnings section

In the Driver app, tap the dollar amount displayed at the top of the screen to view your earnings summary. On the web dashboard, click 'Earnings' in the navigation menu to access your income overview.

3

Open your Driving History

Switch to the 'Driving History' tab on your dashboard. This view shows individual ride records including date, fare, tips, and ride cost. You can browse rides by week using the left and right navigation arrows.

4

Select the time period

Use the date filters or weekly navigation arrows to display the rides for the period you want to export. You can view earnings by week, by month, or by year depending on your reporting needs.

Tip: For tax purposes, also check the 'Tax Center' tab where Lyft provides your Annual Summary and 1099 forms.
5

Download your ride history

Look for the 'Download' or 'Export' option on the Driving History page to save your ride data as a CSV file. The export includes one row per ride with columns for ride ID, date, distance, duration, fare, fees, tip, and total cost.

Warning: Lyft's CSV export availability may vary by region and account type. If the download option is not visible, use the weekly summaries or request your data through Lyft's privacy data request tool.
6

Verify the downloaded data

Open the CSV file in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet program. Confirm that the ride count and total earnings match the summary shown on your Lyft dashboard. Pay attention to the Ride ID column, which uses long numeric identifiers (16+ digits).
