How to Import Csv Export to Calendar (2026 Guide)
After converting your data with one of our tools, follow these steps to import the csv export into Calendar.
Import Steps
Locate your downloaded CSV file
Find the calendar events CSV file in your downloads folder. The file contains your events with columns for Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time, Location, Description, and other calendar fields.
Open in a spreadsheet for editing
Open the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets to review and edit events before importing to a calendar application. You can modify event titles, adjust dates and times, add locations, or filter out events you do not want to import.
Import to Google Calendar
Open Google Calendar in your browser and click the gear icon to open Settings. Click Import & Export in the left panel. Click Select file from your computer and choose the CSV file. Select the destination calendar and click Import. Google Calendar will create one event for each row in the CSV.
Import to Outlook via ICS
Microsoft Outlook does not directly import calendar CSV files. To import into Outlook, first convert the CSV to ICS format using our CSV to ICS converter, then import the ICS file via File, then Open & Export, then Import/Export in the Outlook desktop app.
Verify imported events
After importing, check your calendar to verify events appear on the correct dates with the right times and details. Pay special attention to all-day events and multi-day events to ensure they span the correct date range.
